Set Design & Fabrication
We’re a set design & fabrication company located in Toronto. We’ve been building props, theatre flats, scenic backdrops, and more for TV commercials, TV shows and film for more than 20+ years.
Our services include full film & TV set construction, design, installation and rentals. We have capabilities to construct sets of all sizes and complexities in our studio and on location whether that’s in the studio or at an outside location.
We work with small and large local productions as well as international large-scale productions. We’re adept at fabricating impactful sets derived from your sketches shared with us on a napkin or we can create CAD drawings from a concept or idea.
Set Design & Build
We provide full set and prop design services, or we happily work with your set designer. Whichever option you need, we’ll bring your set to life.
Starting from the initial concept, we work together with our clients to solve the problems that often arise when trying to make a vision come alive.
We use 3-D renderings that will allow you to see the set from different perspectives so you can visualize how the finished set or prop will look.
We also help ensure your designs will be executable and purpose-built. Our fabricators provide expert advice on the design before moving to the build the TV or film set.
By working closely together, we find solutions to minimize risks while maintaining the integrity of your design.

Set Builders
As set builders with years of experience we know the tricks of the trade. We pride ourselves on being able to come up with creative solutions to big design ideas.
We’ve built realistic outdoor sets for studio shoots which included things like backyard settings including decks, fences, dog houses, AstroTurf and BBQs. With our CNC we’ve created stair stringers and window framings and much more, which give life like qualities to sets.
Kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms sets are popular sets. We built custom cabinets and cupboards using the real thing - wood, tiles, etc. But, if you’re short on time and budget we can use our CNC machine to give your set a real-life look.

Using our CNC machine we can cover existing cabinetry in a home or commercial location by fabricating counters and backsplashes to overlay over existing fixtures.
We have a wide-format printer and can cover an entire kitchen with low tack vinyl in the colour or print required. Any material can be replicated if the desired material is unavailable due to time restrictions or availability – tiles, wood finishes, metal, etc.

Living rooms and dining rooms with various finishes and applications are easily recreated in our shop. Wallpaper, faux finishes, shiplap, board and batten, wainscoting, panel molding and intricate architectural moldings can all be fabricated by our team of experts.
We’re also experienced at building “fly-away” sets that include portions that pull apart to reveal another set or scenery behind it, and we also create the mechanics that enable the movement of the set pieces.

Set Finishes & Backdrops
Our talented artistic team can finish sets and backdrops in a plethora of ways! They love getting creative. They can hand paint scenic backdrops, or we can print your tile design on vinyl.
We’ve painted just about every faux finish possible - stone, marble, concrete, woodgrain, stippling and much more - on walls, floors and cabinets. And yes, we also just paint plain walls!

We’ve created many unique backdrops including façade exteriors including aged brick building, shingles, corrugated metal, faux stonework as well as roof tops sets to make it look like the actors were on an actual roof. Our exteriors can include fully functioning or faux windows and doors.

If your living or dining room set requires special finishes and details such as wallpaper, shiplap, board and batten, wainscoting, panel molding or intricate architectural moldings our team can fabricate them all.
We use real materials or use our CNC machine to replicate the desired material whether that’s tiles, wood finishes, metal, etc.

Set Special Effects & Props
Do you have special effects you need integrated into the set? No problem! We’ve done that too. We love the challenge. We also create special effects, such as a glass-breaking scene in a Hudson’s Bay commercial where we created the mechanics to execute.
Rentals
We also provide the rental items necessary to build a set. We can provide everything from flats to sandbags and jacks to risers.
